Space Exploration!

Sun Facts

The sun shines on the Earth giving us light and heat.

The sun is bigger than all the planets together.
The sun does not move, the earth moves.  It looks like it moves across the sky.

We were creative in art with chalk and sugar water.  It gave the pictures a cool effect.

Let's learn the moon phases with cookies.

New Moon
We can not see the moon but we get to celebrate a new month.

First phase is crescent moon. It looks like a banana.

We can see half the moon in phase two.

When the moon is almost full it is called a Gibbous moon.

A full moon is when we see the complete circle shaped of the moon.

We wrote a non-fiction piece from our research,
listening to stories and watching videos about the planets and stars.
