Meet Mrs. Boltz

I came to Dayton, from Rochester, NY, to attend University of Dayton, where I received my Bachelor of Science and Masters Degree in Elementary Education/Reading. I made Dayton my home, with my husband, Patrick, and we raised our daughters here. I taught in Kettering Schools for 33 years in special education, first grade and third grade. My passion is teaching reading in the primary grades! I retired from Kettering in 2013 and have been waiting for just the right opportunity to come along that allows me to connect with children and learning again!

My daughters are grown and live in Buffalo, Nashville, and nearby West Chester. I enjoy seeing our grandchildren as often as possible, traveling to
the
Buffalo area to see the two year old granddaughter! I also enjoy time with family and friends, walking, reading, biking, and photography.

I look forward to partnering with our Hillel families...Here's to a great year!  :-)
